Scanshare Server uses several background services to handle all internal operations.
The services are:
Scanshare Accounting Service | Used to process automatic and scheduled accounting reports |
Scanshare Brother Service | Used to handle Brother embedded clients communication |
Scanshare Event Service | Used to serve logs to the Events viewer |
Scanshare HP Service | Used to handle HP OXPd clients communication |
Scanshare Imaging Web Service | Used to handle Web Client viewer internal communication |
Scanshare Indexing Service | Used to process Repository contents indexing |
Scanshare Kyocera Service | Used to handle Kyocera HyPAS for Web clients communication |
Scanshare Samsung & Ricoh Service | Used to handle Samsung (Java) and Ricoh (SDKJ) embedded clients communication |
Scanshare Network Service | Used to handle base core network communication between all the network services and the core layer |
Scanshare Network Web Service | Used to handle modern embedded clients REST communication |
Scanshare OpenAPI Service | Used to handle Konica Minolta OpenAPI clients communication |
Scanshare OKI Service | Used to handle OKI EWB clients communication |
Scanshare Print Host Service | Used to manage print spooling for the Print Connector |
Scanshare Process Service | Used to manage the workflows documents processing |
Scanshare Sharp Service | Used to handle Sharp OSA Web clients communication |
Scanshare Task Service | Used to handle Web Client Live Mode operations |
Scanshare Toshiba Service | Used to handle Toshiba EWB clients communication |
Scanshare Xerox Service | Used to handle Xerox EIP clients communication |
Stopping a single service will only interrupt its specific job, unless it is interconnected with some other services.
Every service might use different network ports according its role, please check the full list of application ports for all known used ports.
