Merge

The Merge section allows to merge existing pages to the current processing document, before the output is created. Merging position is given by cover and last pages concepts, however by customizing the page number it can happen in any position of the current document.

Warning

Merge option is not available for output formats which don’t support multipage output because merging expects to create a multipage, merged, output document.

Warning

Merge option is not available for Office output formats because documents are pre-processed for segmentation of the document composing parts.

At page number
Enter the page number, in the current processing document, at which insert the cover page(s) , or click on the Variables button on the right, to select a variable which will contain the target page number.

Default option is -1 which means at the beginning, treated as cover page(s) of the output document.

Last page(s) path

Info

Any image extension is allowed to be used as cover / last page(s) documents.

Info

Browse allows to upload the document to merge to the server, this operation stores the document in the local Scanshare data folder.

Warning

For security and privacy reasons the filename is always referring to the Scanshare data folder and not to a full absolute path. Absolute paths are allowed if inserted manually or used inside variables.
